Moving Labor-Only Services

The following is a list of General Points. Please ask any and all questions prior to accepting any estimate(s) and/or job order bill of lading.

There is NO FEDERAL Law or Regulation mandating a Minimum Property Insurance Coverage for Moving Labor Services
1. POG Moving & Helpers and its affiliates are legally licensed, as applicable by law per city, county, and state.
2. POG Moving & Helpers does carry $1,000,000.00/ $2,000,000,00.00 liability coverage in the event of injury and/or death of any team member while on your property.

POG Moving & Helpers recommends that all customers acquire an independent, 3rd party, property insurance policy/rider (please refer to your homeowner’s or renter’s insurance agent/broker) for any and all items that customer(s) deem valuable, irreplaceable, expensive and/or otherwise.
1. POG Moving & Helpers is NOT an insurance agent, broker, or provider and does not promote or support any insurance agency.

2. Optional insurances and valuation options are available on each and every bill of lading and require a customer signature. A lack of customer signature automatically defaults the estimate to labor-only valuation.

When POG Moving & Helpers and its’ affiliates’ provide Moving Labor Only Service(s) (of household, commercial or other goods to be moved, it is the responsibility of the customer and/or client to provide: a safe working environment, the proper equipment and materials and is responsible for any and all damages to personal, chattel and real property.

POG Moving & Helpers and its’ affiliates VOLUNTARILY Provide the following Customer Courtesy Warranty (Conditions apply):

1. POG Moving & Helpers may offer on any validated damages up to 15.0% or $50.00 (whichever is greater in conjunction with a $250.00 deductible) of the total bill of service that was completed by POG Moving & Helpers Only.
2. POG Moving & Helpers is not responsible for damages occurring during transit. This is called Cargo Coverage and is required in Full Service Moves by Federal Law and follows the vehicle, the cargo, and the party responsible for the vehicle (own or rent).
3. POG Moving & Helpers onsite team lead will represent management in regard to any and all matters through the course of the order and transfer any and all information to in house management for review and conclusion

Full Service Only Moving 

POG Moving & Helpers complies with all U.S. DOT Standard Weights & Measures under FMCSA with providing two (2) Value Protection Policies for all Full Service Moving.Your Rights and Responsibilities When You Move (dot.gov)

1. POG Moving & Helpers requires complete and full payment for any and all services prior to any claim agreement and/or settlement.

2. POG Moving & Helpers is not responsible for damages and/or missing items that are/were
a. Not moved
b. Not on a completed inventory sheet OR is undisclosed and recorded prior to move date
c. Boxed, crated, bagged or any item(s) that is/are not visible to the moving team for the purposes of known condition and/or existent during the course of your move

Addendum A. Oversized and Overweight Items

POG Moving & Helpers and its affiliates are an established, licensed, and professional moving service. For purposes of liability protection for our crew members and our clients as well as our client personal possessions this document is to serve as clarification and special requirements for, including but not limited to, oversized and overweight items a client may require moved and or delivered.

List of Items (included but not limited to):

  • Aquariums
  • Pool Tables
  • Stone/Concrete Furniture
  • Spas
  • Gun Cabinet/Safe
  • Water Features
  • Statues/Art
  • Piano/ Organ
  • Tool Cabinet/ Equipment
  • Plants/pottery
  • Electronics
  • Exercise/Weight Equipment
  • Unique, Custom, Antique Furnishing(s)
  • ​As Determined by Crew Lead

These and other types of items may require one or more of the following additional service requirements:

  • Packing/ Padding
  • Crating
  • Additional Crew
  • Special Equipment
  • Additional Insurance/Rider
  • Un/Assembly
  • Special Care

POG Moving & Helpers is able to assist with most if not all facets of moving these types of items for an additional fee or a referral to a specialized vendor. It is important that your possessions are moved safely and our crew is safe while moving these types of items.

It is up to you, the client, to notify us before scheduling and arrival of a move of any items that may meet the above descriptions or any questions. If at any time during the course of the initial walk-through and/or the move the crew lead determines an item qualifies within this category it will be immediately referred to management. Management will determine and assess with the assistance of the crew lead the need for any additional crew, equipment, material, or specialized vendor at an additional cost to the client. The client reserves the right to refuse any recommendations and fees. The client will assume the responsibility to move that item independently of the existing move order at their own and separate cost.

Addendum B. Non-Insurable Items List

Non-Insurable Items List: Please refer to the following as a list of included, but not limited to, the following items that cannot be protected under ANY COMMERCIAL insurance policies.

1. Any and all pre-packed items, factory sealed items. This includes, but not limited to
a. Food
b. Glycerin
c. Fuel and combustibles’
d. Oil(s)
2. Any and all pressboard, MDF, (Ikea, Walmart, and similar) furniture which is designed to be stationary upon build and unassembled for moving.
3. Any and all items that have preexisting damages and repairs.
4. Any and all, including but not limited to:
a. Aquariums

b. Pottery and ceramics
c. Concrete, granite, marble
d. Exterior fragile items that have not been properly packaged.
5. Any mechanical condition of, including but not limited to:
a. Electronics
b. Appliances and/or similar
6. Any and all, including but not limited to:
a. Stock/bond(s), currency
b. Fur(s)
c. Jewelry
d. Collectibles
e. Guns, ammunition.
7. Any items that are overweight/oversized, in excess of 300 pounds, may require specialized equipment and/or handling, as determined by the crew and/or on Addendum A.

Credit(s), Damage Claim(s), Refund(s): Any and all issues are taken seriously and professionally by Premier P.O.G. Moving & Helpers, its successors, and/or assigns. Each issue is handled on an individual basis by P.O.G. Administration Department, in compliance with local, state and federal laws (as applicable) and after full payment on completed service(s), per agreement.

Any damage(s) occurred during the course of a load and/ or unload (only) are to be addressed with the team lead at the time of service. Customer may complete claim upon full payment/closed invoice. To file a claim, copy and paste this link into your web browser:

Default of Payment/Theft of Services: Violation of Arizona statutes/nonpayment for services rendered may initiate the following within three (3) days of service(s): an administrations fee – minimum $50.00, interest fees of 18.0% annually (accrued monthly). After 30 days, referral to collections agency and reporting, small/civil claims filing and/or any other legal options available. Any and all fees associated with collections will be charged accordingly and added to total fees incurred. All legal matters will be handled in the State of Arizona. Some exceptions may apply.
